What happens at your first visit
1. Consultation
Once your paperwork is in, you sit down with the doctor and talk: your health concerns, your history, your goals. This is a conversation, not an interrogation, and it decides everything that follows.
2. History and examination
The doctor examines the areas your consultation pointed to: how your spine moves, which tissues are involved, and how far the problem reaches. Specialized orthopedic and neurological tests, plus our Insight nervous system scan, replace guesswork with measurements.
3. X-ray studies, if your case calls for them
Some conditions need imaging to rule out serious problems or to guide care precisely, upper cervical work in particular is imaging-guided by design. If you do not need X-rays, we do not take them.
4. Same-day care, usually
Most patients receive their first treatment during the same visit: adjustments, soft tissue work, or therapies as indicated. You will not leave having only filled out forms.
5. Report of findings
Within a day or two you get the full picture in plain language: what we found, what we recommend, how long it should take, and what it costs. Every question answered before you commit to anything.
